A year ago this would have been 5 stars. I was always happy when working in the area so I could come here and even converted a few of my colleagues.
The main draw card this place had was the staff. Those girls were great at making delicious coffee and running an efficient operation. One barista got a promotion, another moved on and now the new staff don’t have a clue.
Coffee is always ashy or sour, their pancetta and egg bap (which use to be amazing) kept coming cold in the middle and after 10 minutes of watching the staff you can tell they aren’t right for the job.
The café is hidden down a back lane with 5 other cafes. With so many cafes you need to be on top of your game and unfortunately they no longer are.

Little Wish brews Code Black beans with a La Marzocco. During summer they’ve had cold brew in their fridge.
I enjoyed their vegetarian bagel which was eggplant and salad on a bagel from 5 & Dime. It came with a coffee for another $ 2. I’ve also liked their croissants when I’ve left home without breakfast.

It is my little wish to have a coffee as amazing as it is here everyday.
Well, there is only so much people can have and this café, though very limited in space, makes amazing use of it. There are more chairs and seating area available in this little place than I have seen in cafés occupying a much larger space.
The best thing is this guys open when a lot of people are a sleep and though I came here before they were open, the staff smiled, made amazing coffee and didn’t even give me any bad looks when I gave her a one hundred dollar bill at 6:30 in the morning. So I’ll have to say, this place packs a little menu, simple, gorgeous and amazing everything else.
