I have been here on a Friday night and also a Wednesday night after work. This place is great on warm sunny days, but gets a bit windy and chilly sometimes. It also tends to get very busy, so if u r looking for a place to sit, you may have a problem. Food isn’t to bad, drinks varies… I have an awesome lemonade, they added something to it that makes my lemonade taste delicious but then next few times I ordered lemonade, its just plan old lemonade from the can. :(

Look I think I must be missing something or I don’t understand the ‘Docklands apartment patio’ chic happening here? My pal and I who were incredibly famished after a cocktail blitz down the road… headed into Bomba, greeted by a lovely man who offered us a spot either at the bar in the restaurant or roof top for a reduced bar menu to which we decided to smash the latter. We headed up the lift got a spot at the bar straight away and boom kitchen closed!!! Communication is key and would’ve been nice to be warned that the kitchen would close in the 4 mins it took us upstairs *face palm* So we just smashed through the cocktails hoping a garnish would fill us to no avail! Pretty drunky after all those then zee beers! They were all pretty tasty Service was nice nothing spectacular. other than not warning of the kitchen closing no complaints. Much better and more interesting rooftops in Melb in my opinion… but hey!

Maybe I just don’t get this place, but I went for a few drinks with friends on a Saturday night out and Bomba was just dull. What’s this vibe everyone’s talking about? Did I miss it? Was I not invited? Yea, its a darkened room with music playing(quite loudly, had to do a lot of nodding and pretend-understanding during conversation) and there was not much space available upstairs. I could have gone to any seedy pub or bar and had the same experience. Waste of an evening, I’m sure if I had walked an extra 100m I could have found anything more interesting than Bomba.

You know when you go to a place and the music matches the vibe, that matches you and makes everything connect? That is the last two times I have been here. Small, intimate, chill and good tunes.

OLASENORITAS E SENORS! I snuck up to Bomba Rooftop while waiting for my table to be ready downstairs at Bomba. It was a kinda cold night for April, so the lovely windows were all closed up, but even for a school night it was busy! Going off! Fun cocktails, fun staff, fun space. Definitely a good holding zone before eating until your stomach hurts downstairs. Bonus: lift to the rooftop, no stairs. That’s what I like.

went last night table was booked for 5 of us, well cant fault the staff but one of our group had to sit on the end of one of the tall tables which meant they were in the way of bar trafik’, really not a good table for 5(this was in the downstairs)…so the menu, blimey it was complicated but staff were honest about sizes of tapas, so we avoided them. We ordered the green beans some parma ham, four slim slices errm 5 of us? good job im not eating meat… now for the paella, told this would serve 3 people so we ordered the duck one and the seafood and it would take 45 mins ’ wow this going to be good I thought. Blimey it was not worth the money or the anticipation, 4 prawns three mussels and bit chopped up bloomin gross looking calimari there was lot more of that, the depth of the rice was @ ¼ an inch sooo not worth money, not sure where the duck was either. It was one of the worst things Iv seen, for the wait and money. The rice waa stuck to dish and over cooked… but yaaaaay sangria was good… although too much ice ye we know it cuts the volume of drink down in the carafe, we asked for no ice and… yep still got ice !.

This is one of my favourite places in the city, especially on a nice hot day. Naje sur eyou get there early or else you wont be getting a seat. Arguably the best rooftop bar in the CBD, decent beats, decent drinks, burger bar if your peckish(not exactky haute cuisine, but fills a hole, especially after a couple of drinks). I could spend many a hour up here on the roof on a nice day. This place also does a cinema on the roof top, too, I havent tried it out yet but am dying to.

This is the place that all other rooftop bars sound model their business plan off, great food, great price, great cocktail list, great view and finally great staff. Definitely the place to visit if your looking for a real Melbourne rooftop bar. Sydney folk take notes…

I have only been here a couple of times and its safe to say ill be making my way back soon enough. First and foremost the way they create so many glorious cocktails is enough reason to come back little own the beautiful views you get whilst indulging. Then you get the best news that they’re are super reasonably priced! The Spanish snacks they have to order make you just want to go through the list one by one as each one sounds as good as the next one. Being a rooftop bar its obviously incredible in summer when Melbourne is really showing off how good it looks. Something that I loved about it tho was how cozy and inviting it felt the other night in the middle of winter. It was still super nice view but it was a real winter warmer sort of feeling that not every place knows how to encapsulate. The service of the bar tenders has always been first class, they have always been super friendly, knowledgeable and just plain fun. So next time you want a drink, swing by Bomba it will hit the spot.

This is a cool rooftop. An amazing view of the city. A nice cool, a little bit small, but decent place. The bar is very funky, and the staff working were friendly. Great atmosphere and well displayed. The bar is under roof and then it walks out to the balcony which is the rooftop of the building. Great seating selection. Great for groups of people and meeting people. Well recommended, ill definetly be back here for a drink

These guys are on to a winning combo. Inventive cocktails + reasonable prices(when was the last time YOU paid $ 15 for a beautiful cocktail?) + Spanish snacks + good tunes + outdoor deck in the sun + staff that all have a babe factor of at least 8 = winner.

Bomba Rooftop will take you to new highs of happiness. Throw in a fantastic drinks menu and a teeny tiny tasty tapas menu and you will be smiling all night long. The bar area itself is neatly arranged with ample seating and bathrooms. The bar staff really know how to shake it and make it. Wether that be a beer, bottle of wine or my personal favourite cocktail the Cosmic Al. The tapas menu leads you from one drink to another with ease. Not skip the lamb ribs and the chorizo slider. You’ll be sad if you do. The open area has the ability to be closed up and windproof. Not a bad idea being in Melbourne. The gas heaters are subtly placed around to assist the skimpily clad girls that will naturally flock here once words gets out on the good looking bar staff. Bomba Rooftop has just made it into my top 5 bars to go to in Melbourne town.
