Bigfoot Lodge

Upstairs to the Highlander Bar is a quirky little pop-​up bar with amazing cocktails… Bigfoot Lodge, which is only there for 5 weeks, is modelled on a bar in Japan. Snow scapes, completed with crazy snowboarders, are being projected onto the walls amongst portraits of human x animals, totally weird but fantastically cool at the same time. The bartender was passionate and extremely helpful, and I opted for a drink that was recommended by the bartender downstairs, the Yuzu Pop, which was sweet with a sour citrus kick served in an old school milk bottle and topped off with a gorgeous purple orchid… the bartender also recommended the American style buffalo wings, and as much as my tastebuds were screaming ‘YES’ my little Fitbit was countering with a deafening ‘NO’… will save those for next visit.

Really impressed with this pop up bar located up stairs from Highlander bar. The décor is well thought out, cool and fun. There’s a snowboarding movie projected onto a wall. The framed picture are all, well, let’s just say animal themed. Bar staff are knowledgable attentive, happy to adapt cocktails to your taste and fun.
I ordered a cocktail call Coffee and cigarettes. The glass is infused with smoke and seriously it tasted just like its name! I’m not a smoked, I probably wouldn’t order it again. But one of the friends I was with is and she loved it!
It’s a pop up bar so will only be around for another 4 weeks or so. So make sure you check this place out ASAP!
Did I mention they have a Chesterfield couch? Oh proper tables of various types too.
