Bedroom Eyes

I am blessed to have been on two overseas trips recently and before I jump on that plane and endure the 15 hour+ ride, I always head to Bedroom Eyes first. I personally cannot be bothered making myself look pretty before heading out and exploring the world, so why not have permanently beautiful eyes when I wake up each morning in a new country?
Bedroom Eyes is conveniently located on Johnston Street in Fitzroy and the interior will blow you away upon entry. It is a lavish display of classic femininity — calming musical, antique-​style furniture and a delightful cup of peppermint tea on arrival.
On my first visit we discussed exactly what lash style I was after. «Something that makes me look awake, is quite striking but also doesn’t look fake.» She knew exactly what I was after.
Now this is not an easy process to undertake. You will have to lie very, very still for a good hour or so (I recommend bringing your iPod and listening to a podcast or three) and have someone fiddle with your lashes the entire time. You will definitely be fidgety by the end. But these gals are absolute pros and know how to handle even the wriggliest of clients.
The cost is somewhat high, but remember that this is an investment — the lashes last six weeks to two months and you will looking absolutely ravishing the entire time. A great place to go to before a wedding, a ball or just when you want to treat yourself.
