Bayview Eden Melbourne

We arrived in South Yarra without booking ahead to any motel. Fortunately, this place was big enough to have a vacancy. It was $ 149 for a double room and $ 13 for parking. It is also close to public transport.
The room is large and clean. The bed is comfortable. Once you discover the TV is in the cupboard it works OK too.
We had tea downstairs in the restaurant and it was good too. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ for our waitress as she was friendly and helpful too.
Sometimes it works to your advantage to be a bit disorganised.

Good price, good location!
We needed a comfortable and affordable hotel to stay in while visiting family on the way back to Perth from the US. When we arrived we impressed.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, well lit and clean. The location was close to town, but not too close to get caught up in the constant traffic.
Only complaint would be that we had hired a mid sized SUV and it struggled to navigate their parking garage. Also Friday afternoon we got caught in peak hour traffic trying to park the car in their lot.
The tram is right behind the hotel and easy to use if you don’t require a car.
Would definitely stay again!

Great value for the price. We booked the hotel at a very affordable price, so I was skeptical about what type of place we would be staying in. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean, comfortable, and sizeable room. The bed was very comfortable and we had a gorgeous view overlooking Albert Park.
Parking was conveniently located right underneath the hotel. The elevators were speedy – which seems like a silly thing to comment on until you stay in a place where the elevators make you wait forever!
We have family in Melbourne so as long as Bayview Eden keeps their rates reasonable, I am loyal to this hotel whenever we visit Melbourne.
Bottom line:
–Convenient location
–clean, sizeable, comfortable room
–great views
–All for a great price (at least in early November!)
