Based on 2 concerts, this isn’t the best venue, but certainly far from the worst. I’ve been seated on the east side of the stage(Bruce Springsteen), and in the first half of the ‘pit for Foo Fighters. For an outdoor stadium, the sound quality was quite good, staff generally friendly & knowledgeable, you can take drinks out into the smoking area, and lines to the toilets & bars were minimal — there was even a cash only bar on the smoking balcony outside. I didn’t purchase any food, but a mate did and the chips were deliciously hot & tasty! Drinks were standard venue prices — 9 bucks for spirits & cider. Biggest downfall after Bruce — trams finished before we’d even gotten out of the stadium, and we ended up walking 75 mins until we got a cab. The line up at flinders st cab rank 90 mins after the concert finished was at least 80 people long. I’ve also been here once for the soccer(football), in a corporate room. View from 2nd level was good, food wasn’t bad, and we got to use the lifts — SCORE!

last two nights I have been to AAMI Park to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Brilliant shows and a great venue. Close to town and easy to get to, this stadium makes for a fantastic outside arena show.

Great seating and views in all stands, it looks like a giant technicolor golf ball cleaved open with an axe. This is AAMI Park. Even if you’re not going to watch sport here, it is worth seeing at dusk. I’ve only been twice, and it is a great place to watch sport. If you don’t like public transport you may struggle, as there is no parking onsite. I would also like more drinks stalls open from my experience. Also, the bathroom taps are horrible quality; the first two I tried didn’t work.

AAMI Park, home of the mighty Melbourne Victory and definitely one of the most beautiful stadiums in Melbourne. You definitely would have noticed this one if you have driven down Swan Street recently, at night it shows off it’s amazing LED lights. My recommendation is to go to a big soccer(football) game there to experience the atmosphere than a smaller stadium brings. Melbourne Victory vs Celtic was one of the best experiences I have been apart of at this stadium!

Just like most sporting venues food is WAY overpriced, with a coffee costing $ 4.40, water $ 4.60 and chicken & chips $ 9. The venue itself is fantastic, purpose built for Rugby & soccer you’re always close to the play. Some«under cover» seats still cop rain so I suggest going 11 rows back at least.

Best stadium ever. The seating is so close to the action you can smell Bryan Norrie!

One of the reasons why I chose Melbourne as my location for studying abroad was because this city is famous for its architecture. AAMI Park truly does its job lighting up Melbourne in the light with its beautiful flashing lights and awesome dome architecture. In my opinion, out of the two major parks — Melbourne Cricket Ground versus AAMI Park, AAMI Park wins in my heart. NOTES: ~ Check out the view of AAMI Park from the heights of Eureka Skydeck! That was when I first saw this amazing structure — look for the brilliant light show you cannot miss it. Even though AAMI Park is not as popular as Melbourne Cricket Ground, it is still worth just as much praise. It’s beautiful, architecturally unique, and reminds me of spider eggs from Skyrim. Illuminate the city some more, AAMI Park! You’re a fantastic addition to Melbourne!

Love the grassed area in AAMI Park, especially during the day and before it gets dark. Well designed architecture, including the dome yet for so many people the transport options makes it easy to come and to go back home. Football and cricket are the main team sports performed here, so far and yet so near. A world class facility that was available for show and tell at Melbourne’s open house; there is really so much to see and observe, even if sports is not your thing; parts of Melbourne’s sporting landscape that attracts the crowds, winter, summer and all year round. Time to visit this ground. Make it a day, any time of day, and you might just want to stay and play.
