Have come here twice for week day lunches with hubby and 13 month old bub. Access into the store seems to be an issue with strollers or similar access needs, as there’s two steps. I’m use to navigating my stroller up and down stairs but for those that don’t… That’s your heads up! The service is otherwise friendly and accommodating to bub with high chair and room for stroller. When we have visited there’s been a few takeaways and only one or two other diners. I always associate quick food turnaround once you order at Thai and most other Asian restaurants but this place is a bit slow for a weekday lunch. On our most recent visit, the kitchen had two ask at least twice the front of house to clarify our order and it was a tom yum noodle soup with chicken. We were the only table there — maybe there was takeaway to be done ?!! First time round we ordered my usual pad Thai with prawns, basil fried rice and for our bub some plain rice with chicken — can’t quite remember what but it was tasty. The food was quite good. Portion is on the lean side. We thought we’d have leftovers but there wasn’t any. We’re big eaters, I’ll admit but at our current favorite Thai place, we always have leftovers from just 2 dishes! Second visit, we had massaman curry, which I found delicious. On the sweet side for hubby but lovely for me! We also had pork belly fried rice which had crunchy pieces of pork belly throughout a normal fried rice. Also Yummy! And of course we had the Tom yum noodle soup with chicken which hit the spot for me. I’d potentially consider coming back if we can get to our usual. Might need to get the kitchen issues ironed out as I am tempted by the desserts…

Thai without the sugar, good food, charming hosts, clean and fresh room. Among other dishes We had fish curry, the fish was firm and not over powered by curry. We found the wait staff to be unobtrusive and efficient. At $ 30 a head we consider it to be good value.

New Thai place in the Meadowbank Plaza. We ordered takeaway of 1 entrée, 3 mains and 2 desserts all came to $ 45 which I thought was a bargain! Maybe there was an opening discount. The inside is nice has tables with white linen and the lights are pretty bright! They also have a booth area decked out in red leather. Food was good, not overly done with the seasoning on some dishes which was nice, but had one dish lacking in sauce. Loved the black sticky rice with coconut! It was warmed up and the coconut was sweet! Definite highlight.
