SUPA IGA Meadowbank

There has been a big change to this store in recent months. The store was bought by new owners. Gone is the loyalty card… Yet they say another one is about to be launched. I loved racking up the points and getting my $ 5 discount once a month. Ha
The store has a variety of products and is the central supermarket for the Meadowbank area. The prices are reasonable and the fruit is fresh.
The sales assistants are always helpful and the shelves are always well stocked.

Pretty decent IGA with standard supermarket fare. I’m sad they don’t really sell fish — only some smoked or frozen ones. :(
This is generally good, but I’d have to say watch out for the items on special. They’re pretty much gone already. I once bought a pack of potatoes that turned out to be green, as well as strawberries that were moldy (I’d inspected it, but the mold was hiding in the middle.) :(
For fruits and veggies, I’d recommend the fruit and veggie place in front of it for a better, fresher selection. But if that place is already closed, then this will do.
Rotisserie chicken is good!
They have been trying to price match, so yay… watch out though, some of their stuff tends to be comparatively more expensive than the big two. They have a membership program, which they don’t really advertise, but if you frequently go here it would be worth asking the cashier.
