If you want to know about the latest goss and dirt about the celebrities overseas, as well as here in Australia, come inside Mawson Lakes Newsagency.
Everytime I park my car in front of the ATM here, I can’t help but notice the massive front cover of the magazines splashed all over the front door. It’s usually showing off some new royal marriage or a heartbreaking celebrity break-up…ooohh, that’s gotta hurt! :(
This place has what you need. From celebrity magazines, travel magazines, business magazines, newspapers, and many other things, you’re bound to pick up something that will interest you.
As for me, I’ve become obsessed with ‘Success’, Business, and of course, me being a male, I’ll reveal my guilty pleasure: ‘Playboy’ magazines (it’s only because I like the way they write in there, of course *winks*).
So what does this mean for you? Go to this newsagency — you’ll see for yourself why this has been highly rated. I’m a fan of the celebrity mags myself, especially if I’ve got some spare loose change hanging about in my wallet. There’s so many interesting things here, I’ve spent way too much time and money flicking through then eventually buying one too many mags here!

The owners are friendly and make an attempt to get to know all of their customers. If there’s something they don’t sell they will get it in just like any other newsagent. Nothing new there, right? Well, as well as that, if you order something they don’t have & there’s a publication related to it they will get that in as well.
I placed a special order for «The Beano», a British comic that has been around since the 1930s. Not only did they get my copies of «The Beano», but they also got in the companion comic «The Dandy». When I saw both comics I ended up buying both.
When I placed an order for «Retro Gamer» magazine, they ended up getting in «Game TM Retro Specials». Being the avid consumer I am I ended up purchasing these as well. Not only is this smart buying, it also meets the needs of their customers. They will also get related special issues for any magazine you order without you needing to call them & let them know that it’s available.
Now you’ll have to excuse me. With this many publications I have some reading to catch up on.
