Had a last minute business meeting here over coffee which then turned into lunch. The food cabinets definitely got my mouth watering as soon as I walked in the door with a massive selection of hot and cold treats. Its clear that this place does high turnover and catering really well. My dining partner and I both chose from their range of «balls» and combined with salad. Mine was made with chickpeas and quinoa and delivered with a delicious citrus mayo. Service wasn’t as attentive as I would’ve liked — no drinks refills or water on the table — but staff were pleasant and helpful. I would go here again if in the area, a great place to get takeaway from if you’re pushed for time.

I sprung for something a little different today and ordered up a mocha latte. The drink was tasty as always but lacked a little in presentation yet I enjoyed it regardless. I arrived at 3pm so the lunch items were unavailable. I’m not sure about the name but the café is a pleasant place to drop by during the day.

I’m not sure about the name, the interior or the location, but this place surprisingly rocked my jocks the other day. I genuinely anticipated a bit of a throw away meal when my dad told me we’d be going there for a family lunch — perhaps one of those meals where you have to order the safest thing on the menu to protect your delicate tongue. No? Just me? Anyway, I soon learned this place was owned by the business mogul behind Tangello(before it was bought out and went bust). The deli section of the café stocks a lot of familiar items reminiscent of old ‘gello days — including their child-pleasing cupcakes and treats. Despite the wanky warning on the menu about their dedication to fresh produce, I still didn’t trust the food so I ordered the avocado fetta mash. My socks — they were blown right off. I later found them 10 metres down the street. I don’t know how they managed to inject so much flavour into the meal but I was left wanting more. Sadly the coffee isn’t tremendous, but it will do. I recommend this place mainly for families who are looking for a spacious, suburban café that delivers on taste. You wouldn’t go here to be seen, but if you prioritize food over aesthetics then you won’t be let down.
