Leaving work late on a Wednesday night we decided to give this place a try.
Felt like I’d walked into Italy, fantastic service a great balance of being attentive and efficient.
Good choice from the menu, again not overwhelming so we choose a couple of pizzas to share. Both were delicious and the wine was great value too. Who doesn’t like a red from Italy!
There was a table of three generation of Italians near us and they ordered the tiramisu, I had to follow suit and I wasn’t disappointed!
Overall, a fantastic place and has BYO option. I’ll be totally putting this on the top of my date night restaurants now.

I had seen this place for years and never gone in. I made a booking for the four of us to get dinner mid week kind of at the last minute. Everything worked out great.
The place is pretty big with the upstairs. The service was pretty good, fast and friendly. I was impressed with the menu. It had choice but didn’t bombard you with a laundry list.
The kids had a pizza, my wife the gnocchi and me the lasagna using the traditional recipe. All was enjoyed.
Probably not a great place to take little ones (under 5) but you could do it.
This would be a nice date night location.

Really friendly staff, however feels like they’re stretched very thin. Not a problem if you have good company — wait times are a non-​issue then. Really yummy homely food. Great, busy atmosphere and a beautiful old restaurant. You can BYO wine and save a little on price, however it’s very good value for money anyway — considering the location.
