Toys ‘R’ Us

I am a big kid at heart.
Come to think of it, it’s not even at heart. In my group of friends, I am known as the easily excitable one with a child-​like quality and rose-​tinted glasses. That’s why when it comes to toy stores, it is my heaven.
I love venturing into a toy stores and seeing awesome displays you can test out.
I love the sights and sounds of little kids running around and having fun.
I love the colourful and almost magical place a toy store can be for a kid.
Unfortunately, walking into this particular Toys ‘R’ Us inside Chadstone was nothing more than boring. Although its collection is huge, they have gone more of the corporate route and turned into a general store rather than the flash «SUPER AWESOME TOY STORE» that makes Toys ‘R’ Us typically such a special place for a child to go.
Customer Service: Pretty much virtually nonexistent. Wandering around the toy store, there was no one around — not even a welcome.
Like I said, I feel like toy stores should be a special haven for children to look forward to — picking out a new toy shouldn’t be a chore, it should be exciting.
C’mon Toys ‘R’ Us! Liven up the place a little!
