Zanthorrea Nursery

Oh my I think I may have just died and gone to native plant nursery heaven! Needing some emergency everlastings (Kindy teacher business– story if my life). I stopped in here after driving by this place for 10 years and never stopping! I love it here! I could just hang out here the rest of my life. Art, natives, free coffee & tea & a gorgeous gift shop too! Heaven. Seriously. Go. I mean all you nature loving people and gardeners alike, just GO! Its simply a delight! And. Can I please live here?
And the playground is just too awesome for words! Who is the genius that set up this haven. I’m in love!

Zanthorrea is situated in a beautiful bushland location and it has a beautiful bushland feel to it. This ample sized nursery has a wonderful wooden playground for the kids and free tea and coffee for the adults. Everyone’s a winner.
They’re a sustainable nursery and, as such, the staff here are fully qualified to help with all your gardening needs. The plants are always top quality and there’s a multitude to choose from.
Customers enter the nursery through the gift shop, and what a beautiful and inviting entrance! Gorgeous water features and beautiful garden gifts create a wonderful prelude to the rest of the nursery experience.
I love the winding gravel paths that meander through the forest of often different and contrasting plants. The giggles of little ones trotting across the tiny wooden bridge is always a delight. And the lovely wooden gazebo is a nice sit down area, especially handy if older relatives or friends have come to feast their eyes on some gardening delights.
I think I can pretty safely assume lots of people come up here for the exquisite atmosphere. And rightly so too, the lovely surrounds certainly make for a refreshing and replenishing afternoon.
