Awful dishonest people, they don’t deserve your business. Rude and defensive after messing up an order and put it back on us as our fault. They blamed a new employee, then the menulog delivery service, then their fax machine, then us again. We ordered at 7:30pm and as of writing this are still waiting for some sort of resolution at 10pm. The manager actually flat out refused to fix this or offer any sort of apology on the phone. Complete disregard for their customers.

It may look like just another fast food takeaway place on Norton Street, with its generic menu graphics and metallic ‘food-keeper-warmer-thing’(Editors note: Official name.) But Bombay Grill is so much more. The Lassi’s in the fridge are absolutely delicious, plain, mango and rose, and are a very enjoyable snack indeed. But the piece de resistance as it were; the reason I keep going back; the number one draw card for me, of Bombay Grill? It’s the Chicken Tika Roll or ‘Indian Kebab’ as they’ve called it, a marketing ploy to attract the drunken crowd who refuse to sully their inebriated palate with anything other than a kebab after a night out. And this Indian Kebab is amazing! Drunk or sober. We start with a piece of Naan, spread some sauce from the Butter Chicken across it, then if you like a bit of garlic sauce, a bit of garlic sauce. Next, an Aloo Choop; a mildly spicy potato based snack is crushed into the Naan and finally a piece of succulent Chicken Tika is placed into the middle. The Naan is wrapped up and the Indian Kebab is ready for consumption. Another great thing about this Indian treat is it’s only $ 6! For a while it wasn’t even on the menu and you had to know you wanted it and ask for it especially, but through word of mouth the Indian Kebab at the Bombay Grill has become a hit.
