I forget that I have this place in my vicinity. They have a huge menu whilst I’m usually against with Chinese restaurants. Bc there different sorts of Chinese.
Cantonese, Shanghainese, Norther style, Sichuan, etc
Cantonese cuisine is what I’m picky about. I guess it’s bc it’s the first cuisine I know.
Anyway. This place offers the standard Cantonese dishes but also have some Northern dishes. And I don’t mind it at all.
My biggest issue with going to this place is because I like to go with a huge group of ppl so that more dishes can be ordered.

Lunch with friends at this restaurant today. The ‘deep fried duck’ (Heong Sow duck) pancake is the best I have eaten and have not seen this dish served by other Sydney restaurants other than Peking duck which is roast duck. This dish is a MUST to Order when visiting this restaurant. Beef fried strips, vegetables cooked in cream, egg in crab meat, steam and friend buns are all excellent.
Been to this restaurant many times and quality is excellent and consistent. If you like hot food, don’t forget to ask for their chili sauce.
Price is reasonable… Weekend dinner, do book as quite packed esp Sat evening when the Randwick Race Turf punters normally visit this restaurant.
