What’s not to like about this place? Portion sizes are huge, the love of fresh ingredients and the variety (without being over bearing) is fantastic.
I can recommend the beef cheeks to anyone, but make sure you wear comfortable pants!
The beer lines are kept in great condition so make sure enough drink a tap beer.

I’ve eaten here a few times now and have been fairly impressed with the quality of the meals for the price. Along with this, the servings are quite generous. Of all the places in town it has a great atmosphere and some class to it.

Good pub food, classics like chicken parmigiana with salad and chips, and good steaks. Portions are huge (could easily have shared one).
Find a seat, and order your food at the bar next to the entrance.
Paddy’s is part of the famous Exchange Hotel, so you could experience a predinner drink served by a nice young lady dressed in her underwear, and then walk through to the restaurant. For those so inclined, the food can be ordered and eaten in the skimpies bar (Wild West saloon) as well.

Looks like it has been renovated and added a fresh coat of paint recently. Better than the average selection of pub food so no matter what you are feeling like there is bound to be something on the menu to tame the hunger beast.
An impressive selection of beers, local and export available, along with wines to match to variety of dishes.
I happened to turn up on porterhouse steak night, I’m a fan of a good steak and it was outstanding and I would have had it anyway, but I was more amazed at how the chef had made the salad which came with the meal look appetising. Instead of the usual clump of funny looking lettuce leaves which make you feel obliged to have one just to say you had some greens with the steak this salad looked like it had a make over by a modern artist with a shredder instead of a paint brush. It looked fantastic, an array of colours in shredded form and very tasty.
Service was excellent and the staff country friendly, there is an ATM near the counter that you order food from and a few TV screens around the place showing sport
