Brilliant tasty food. We had the fish casserole, sour soup and beef phở, as well as spring rolls and rice paper rolls for starters. All were beautiful. Lemon soda was home made and yum. Can’t fault the place, will definitely be back. It’s tucked away in the corner on the same level as IGA — blink and you’ll miss it(and be sorry you did)!

From Order To Table: Perfect timing. Like catching grandma’s favourite mug before it hits her awfully tiled kitchen floor. Service-ometer: Cookie cutter service. Stomachability: Like a home cooked dinner from mum. With leftovers. That you eat a couple of days later when you forgot you have nothing in the fridge and then think about it for a couple of hours afterwards. BESTPHOINSYDNEYSOFAR. I have eaten at far too many poor quality Vietnamese restaurants and this, by far, is the BESTPHOINTOWN. Growing up in a Vietnamese ghetto in Melbourne, I have very high standards of Phở. Trust me, if a Vietnamese restaurant wasn’t as good as the one next to it or better it didn’t last longer than 2 weeks. Phở Tk has food as good as that. I really enjoy the perfectly proportioned Phở Tai(beef) and spring rolls. For about $ 20 it’s a really good, worthwhile meal. If you LOVE phở and have high standards of it, PLEASE try it out.

There are only(2) two Vietnamese restaurants amongst the hundreds of Asian restaurants in Market City and this is the better of the two. [15.11.13 Correction] Bo 7 Mon Thanh Tam on Level 3 of the Food Court is actually the better of the two… Larger portion and more authentic! BUNTHITNUONGCHAGIO(Vermicelli Noodle w/BBQ Pork & Eggrolls):(3.5 stars) Sooooo fresh!!! They definitely put some love into the preparation of this dish, BUT it’s such a small serving size. I’d rather go to Pasteur down the street to get a larger portion for the same price! COMBOLUCLAC(Shaken Beef w/Fried Rice):(3.5 stars) First time having Com Bo Luc Lac in Sydney and I wasn’t disappointed, BUT I wasn’t impressed either. I’d say it was a pretty standard dish except the portion was so small! Typically, you’d also get a side soup bowl w/this back in California. Guess not here. Phở TK, I work in Market City 6 days/week. If you make your serving size LARGER, I’ll eat here everyday on my lunch break! :)

Wow, great Phở. Better than on L3 and I even prefer it over phở Pasteur !

If you’re ever in Market City and up for yummy Vietnamese cuisine, you should definitely stop by Phở Tk. It’s a small restaurant that sits unobtrusively in a corner beside a bakery. You probably won’t even notice it’s there if you didn’t know where to look. Although it is small and unnoticeable, their food is definitely something that stands out. Their phở is very tasty, rich in flavour and their Bun Rieu is absolutely fantastic, a perfect blend of fresh ingredients. The food is served hot, the portion size is good, and the price is really affordable. While Vietnamese cuisine is not liked by everyone, they’ll surely become converts after a visit to this place.
