This café is located downstairs at YHA Central, perfect for backpackers who needed to grab a meal after long hours of travel(which was my case that time). I like the ambiance of the place, very relaxing and homey. The place is huge too, people who want to watch sports can go to the area near the tv while others who want to relax can go to the other areas. The food was good but I think was a bit pricey. However, considering the location and the fact that there’s not much café in the area I think it will do.

This place is absolutely perfect. It’s close to my place. They serve breakfast all day, an automatic winner in my book. The food is decently priced. Their wifi works impeccably! The café is so quaint and cozy. There are outlets. Perfect place to do homework. Service is great. Great views. Overall, absolutely in love with this café and I definitely recommend this place to anyone! :)

I had an audition for a film, the audition would be held at the Actors Centre on Pitt Street, just down from central. I dressed in my most sinister, yet pedestrian clothing and made my way into the city. The part was for a psychopath, so I tucked my shirt in and pulled my pants up to just below my belly button, what an insane fashion statement to make. While I waited for my time slot, I ventured into an empty café on the corner. There weren’t too many people inside and I decided it was the perfect place to sit and meditate and think about the core of the character, to run the lines in my head and to go over my characters imagined backstory. I ordered a soy cap and took a seat. The coffee came and I drank it. The large plate glass windows surrounding seventy percent of the café allows for natural light, yet the tint of the glass maintains some privacy. I drank some more water and then walked up the stairs to their bathroom, splashed my face with water, repeated Buffalo Bill’s burning question to myself in the mirror and put my most devious reading glasses on. I was ready. I left, the tasty coffee and quiet atmosphere of In Café and walked up the road to the Actors Centre and to the audition. I never even got a phone call.

Vietnamese restaurant in the city. Standard deco and not dinghy at all. The milkshakes and smoothies compliment a full on desert menu. When you ask for cheesecake please make sure you leave room for ice-cream too, as that’s what you’re in for. You can expect your favourite dishes to be on the menu or if you’re feeling more adventurous why not sample something you haven’t had before. Great for groups, they offer polite table service and overall seem clean and content.
