Haymarket Library

The fact that I only just discovered this place is telling — students like me are always on the lookout for libraries and there wouldn’t be many I haven’t come across. I walk past this one almost daily so I’ve no idea why it’s taken this long. That’s the best part about it though — all of the well known libraries around town are filled with students and others who you have to compete with to find a seat and a table and a wall socket.
You won’t have to compete here because not many people know about it and there are enough tables and chairs to cater to those who do and decide to come. Another bonus for me, because I find it hard to study in dead silence, is that you can hear the faint noise of cars driving up and down George St.
