The food here is a steal. For $ 6.50 I got a giant plate of fried noodles, seafood and vegetables — and I’m not talking about a couple of shrimps, I mean this dish was loaded with crab, squid, and octopus. And it tasted great, you can tell it was made with real care. The rest of the outlets in this food court look fine, but they are all at least $ 2 more expensive on average for what looks to be, at best, similar-quality food. Bijou China is not a 5-star restaurant but it certainly wins the food court grand prize, in my opinion.

Bijou China is one of my favourite food court stalls in Chinatown. It serves a large number of Northern Chinese dishes, many of which are not sold at other stalls. The Dongbei Spicy Fish is the pick of the menu, a spicy noodle soup with pieces of fish. The popular lamb kebabs for $ 2 each are also a good buy. Virtually all the dishes are under $ 10, and the service is very quick and friendly. Highly recommend this place!
