Lovely unassuming wine bar, with a great selection to take away, rotating menu of by-​the-​glass options, or a $ 10 per bottle levy to drink in. Chats with the friendly staff come free. The cheese and dips selections give you plenty of bang for your buck, and don’t be afraid to inquire as to what cheese best matches your wine, as the staff will proudly tell you with a sly smile that they’ve tasted most wines they stock. Lucky staff. I’d say great pre-​dinner drink spot, but to be honest it’s just as easy to pop open a second bottle, grab more cheese, and just never leave…

Huge fan. The range of quality wines from a multitude of regions is exceptional, and very well priced. The cheese plate is seriously magnificent and very generous! The 3 cheeses were outstanding, and with bottomless bread — we were very satisfied. A great place to catch up with friends, or to start the night off right. I can not wait to return with many more friends!

From the outside, this looks like a pub where drunk old men sit and leer at young women walking by. Inside, Gibson’s is wonderfully charming! The staff know their wines — we were absolutely delighted with our Barossa Shiraz — and were incredibly generous when it came to refilling our bread bowl to go with our dips. The cheeses were absolutely delectable and clearly high-​quality — and paired perfectly with our wine! — as were the accompanying nibbles.
A great spot for a wine and cheese night with friends!
