What a gem I’ve found. I almost don’t want to write about it so I can have this place all to myself but in the spirit of Unilocal,here goes.
Are you sick of pushy customer service, expensive breakfasts and mediocre food? Worry no more! Blood Orange has you covered. Though a bit on the pricier side this grocery store (fruit, vegetables, baking goods, pasta, jam and more) + takeaway homemade meals + good food and drinks has plenty of indoor AND outdoor seating available and you can even bring your fur friend there for a date.
What we ate: Shared platter for 2 — smashed avo, ricotta, housemade chutney, ham off the bone, dense rye sourdough, 4 poached eggs, smoked salmon, potato rosti $ 39.90
What we drank: Chai latte and coffee

I went to the café part of the green grocer. I loved the natural light in the open space and the service was so friendly. So homely with contemporary furnishings.
It has only been opened for a month but surprisingly enough we were able to get a table of 5 on Sunday arvo. I thought it’d be packed (probably soon to be).
I ordered the avocado and fetta toast with toast, simple and delicious! My family also loved their dishes, including: bacon and avocado focaccia with a delicious homemade chutney, potato hash and other great foods!
They have great tasting juices too! Beetroot, celery and apple juice… doesn’t sound appetising to me but it was so tasty — more apple based. Go check it out!
