Max Brenner in Portside is a lovely place to relax by the water and enjoy the weather over some delicious chocolate! The service is prompt, even on busy days and each dish is prepared with love :) I enjoyed having chocolate strawberries and ice-​cream in Brisbane’s warm weather with my child who also indulged in the chocolatier goodness from MB. Definitely recommend this place for a snack, catch up with friends or even some alone time. This place is diverse because of its location which makes it that much more enjoyable.

I stumbled across Max Brenner after a movie at Dendy Portside. We had cappuccinos in the Kangaroo Cup, so named because the cup has a ‘pouch’ which is filled with a cube of their chocolate, which melts into the coffee– very yummy! It is a huge café with a nice atmosphere and lots of interesting ‘chocolate accessories’ for sale as well!
