Bianco Nero is the best place in Gymea to come for good coffee. Food is also good and reasonably priced. Take always are also done relatively quickly. Glad it’s our local. Only down side is it can be cold in winter but bring a coat. Also open for tapas dinner on Friday nights.

Great coffee, Cold food… On a cold Sunday morning there is NOTHING better than a nice hot breakfast and good quality coffee. This morning i got one, but unfortunately not the other. I have been going to BN for years for their coffee(which is consistently good) but hadn’t properly had breaky there. As such, I was excited to potentially discover a new regular local haunt, but unfortunately that’s where my excitement finished. Ordered at the counter, staff friendly as always, I had the poached eggs with bacon and my wife the falafel eggs with bacon. Drinks as usual, double ris & pic for me, English breaky tea with sk milk for the mrs. Drinks came quickly. Coffee was bold, strong and delicious. A punchy mouthful! Tea was too strong and for some reason the milk was frothed despite me requesting cold sk milk. Food came and it looked amazing!!! I was excited… I cut through the poached eggs and the yolks spilled over the sourdough and bacon… Excitement grows!!! I cut through my first bite, and proceeded to eat it and immediately the decline in my experience… It was all STONECOLD… Very disappointed. I ate my meal, it was ok but much better if hot. I’m not sure if there’s a disconnect between the service team(upstairs) and cooks(downstairs) but I genuinely hope they read this and resolve it. It was such a shame. Will be back for coffee. Will not be back for breaky. 3⁄5 because I’m feeling nice, prob should be 2⁄5. 1 star coffee. 1 star staffing.

When out in the suburbs, going into a café that use coffee from Single Origin Roasters is quite refreshing Unfortunately I found that the roast here had been specifically tailored to be darker than normal(which is bucking the current trend elsewhere in Sydney). It seems, having visited a few other cafes in this area, hat they are not alone in this calculated move. Perhaps it it the classic robust coffee taste that bring the locals out? Either way, the staff were attentive, made a decent mac, and were situated in a nice looking café close to the station. While they normally also served single origin coffees, when I was there they only had a seasonal blend which I had tried before at Single Origin Roasters. Still, if you are looking for coffee in Gymea, this would be my pick. Coffee: Single Origin Roasters Passion: 8⁄10 Crema: 7⁄10
