The Cousins Dinner, this is why we are here. This is my roots, Griffith NSW, affluent city sort of on the Murrumbidgee river.
I will never understand why people in this city who eat so well at home are happy to eat lesser food when they go out.
The Exies is a pleasant enough eatery, the usual suspects, steak, chicken, fish, parmies, all OK but nothing out of the ordinary.
This Saturday night does nothing to change my mind. My mini rump steak is unevenly cut and although the request is for medium rare, it is basically burnt at one end and grisly at the other. Not great to say the least.
Don’t bother… stay home, have soup and toast. PS company was great, we had lots of laughs!
