Karon’s Devine Creations

Now, I have never heard of this store before, but oh my god, do they sell some beautiful shit!
Every item of clothing in the display window made me yearn for it. There were a lot of items. My legs led me almost against my will into what I was sure would be a ridiculously overpriced shop, but I had to have a look anyway… just in case.
I was right, it was overpriced. But not by too much. I could definitely envision going in there for a splurge on payday.
They sell dresses (the most exquisite dresses), tops, trousers, skirts (mostly knee-​length and long skirts), blouses, and other accessories like scarves.
I’m not really one for the overly feminine style of clothing, but hell, if all stores sold clothes like this, I could get used to it.

Nope, I don’t know what’s up with the spelling either.
Karon’s is a boutique which stocks some great brands — there’s a rack of Metalicus, some Boo Radley and Katherine, a few Tilly Rose shoes — which are unfortunately a little hard to locate in the maelstrom. The shop is a trifle overstocked, costume jewellery and shoe boxes perching everywhere, the racks overflowing, which I guess makes it perfect if you like fossicking and have some time. The overall feel is of someone packing for an extended overseas jaunt, clothes strewn on all surfaces, desperately wanting just one more suitcase.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s some lovely stuff here for a range of tastes, and the staff know their stuff and are very helpful. Goodness knows I’m not renowned for my tendencies to minimalism either, I just feel it’s a little hard to see and appreciate the quality that’s here.
