Whether you admit it or not, having a perfect haircut is important to everyone. Your hair is one of the first things people notice about you, so don’t deny that it’s not important to make a great first impression. It had been a while since I had one, and my hair was getting quite unruly. Since I am new to Sydney, I started asking around and doing some research to find somewhere with recognized talent and of course, not too expensive. This was hard to find in Sydney, as many of the salons, like Toni and Guy, were asking for almost $ 100 for a men’s haircut. WHY? Sure they may be great hairdressers, but it’s not practical for me to pay that much for a monthly trim.
I have been passing by Stevie English a numerous amount of times since I moved to Glebe. In their front window, they have awards they won on display, which include best business and competition awards. This got me curious. I called to find out prices for men’s cuts, which ranged from $ 55 to $ 90, depending on the experience of the hair stylist. When I went in for my cut, I noticed the youthful and hip atmosphere, which was welcoming and not at all pretentious. I had my hair cut by Jim, who was very friendly and experienced for his age. Overall, I was impressed with my experience at Stevie English and will return as soon as my hair starts freaking out again.
