No need to write a review about the quality of Domino’s Pizza. We all know that this cookie cutter pizza chain cranks out the same sort of formulaic pie despite whether you’re in China, or Belgium, or Chile or Australia. It’s kind of like Subway(how do they ALL smell the SAME?). The reason I’m writing about this specific Glebe location is because it is, hands down, the best late night food option along Glebe Point Road(at least the couple blocks between Bridge Road and Mitchell Street). While I am all about supporting the ‘mum and pop’ restaurants like Bogarts Pizza(which is also open late I might add), and the kebab place next to the AB Hotel, there is something about Domino’s that is less sketchy. Maybe because, contrary to the other two spots, it’s always brightly lit and full of people. That in itself is comforting. Please feel free to disagree with me, but there’s definitely something to the novelty of knowing exactly what you’re going to get… especially when it’s 11pm on a week night and you just want to stuff food in your face and crawl in to bed.
