Wow this place is great! For some reason they never have too much of a weekday lunch rush — possibly because there are so many restaurants nearby? Great food, nice people and a wonderful upstairs balcony to sit on and people watch. Also a smaller and quieter deck out the back. They are super quick with the food, and it is such a good price. Their curries are fantastic and fried rice is even better!

This is the best Take-away Thai place we have found in Sydney. The red curry is off the charts good — so savory and just the right amount of spicy. You also can’t go wrong with Pad Thai — any and ‘meat’ option is great. The entrees that we’ve had are the spring rolls, chicken wings and the curry puffs — all delicious! This is our go-to for take away Thai :)

At Home Thai was a lucky find for my wife and I nearly three years ago. We’ve been going to or ordering in from here on a regular basis ever since my wife was given the opportunity to review it for a cheap eats guide. I don’t care if this isn’t traditional Thai food(a few reviews say it isn’t), it has fantastic taste at a great price! Panang curry isn’t must and the best I’ve had. I’ve tried Panang curries else where and they just don’t compare. The pad see ew and cashew nut noodle are also highly recommended. If your in Glebe, give this joint a try!

Regularly get takeaway from here. The duck pancakes are great. The curries are flavoursome, occasionally you get one that’s a bit watery though but that’s only been once or twice out of 20+ orders.

@Home Thai does great Thai food in that westernised kinda way. Tasty, cheap and quick, there isn’t too much to complain about besides the dishes needing more of a chilli kick, although I understand it is directed at an Australian market. The Chicken Stay skewers($ 7.90) or Curry Puffs($ 6.90) are a good way to start. Main meals range from $ 8.50−15.90 depending on what meat you choose and whether it is lunch or dinner. The Cashew Nut’s Lover is nice, as is the Peanut Sauce, Spicy Basil and Jungle Curry. Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice are the kind of dishes where you get exactly what you would expect. My suggestion is to sit upstairs on the balcony; it is especially peaceful at night(besides the odd bus driving past), with a cosy atmosphere and good view of Glebe Point Road. I believe there is also a courtyard away from the main road, although I have never ventured out the back to find it. The restaurant is BYO, which is a plus, and also has home delivery for the times when you can’t be bothered to leave the house.

At Home Thai on Glebe Point Rd does really tasty Thai food in a pretty, fairy-light-lit, balcony environment. The staff here are lovely — recently my friend and I went back there after a couple of weeks away and I’d dropped her off to get a table whilst I parked the car. Walking in after parking my car in the Broadway shopping centre levels, the host greeted me at the door with a big smile, «You’re friend is upstairs!» The tofu panang curry is delicious and ‘the hangover’ noodles are amazing — not sure if I’d recommend them for hangovers however, unless your plan is to sweat out the toxins with chilli. It’s pretty cheap and the upstairs balcony is a great place to spy on the comings and goings of the neighbourhood. There is a homely feeling about At Home Thai. I mean, my home doesn’t have that many tables, nor an abundant supply of bean sprouts. But being farewelled by every member of staff(chefs included) as you walk out their doors, it feels like you’re farewelling friends, leaving their house after dinner. Only you pay this friend to cook for you and then leave before the washing up is done.
