We had high hopes coming to this store. We had heard they had a huge range of mens shoes. But agree with Ben H they did have lots of Vans, but the rest of the range of shoes and clothes was really lacking. Left empty handed and disappointed.

Mi-Life is a cool, minimal, fresh store. It’s filled with sweet designer trainers/sneakers/kicks, whatever it is you want to call them, it has them. It’s hard to find a variety of the colours and styles brand like Vans, Addidas and Nike. If you go into any sports, surf or shoe store, you’ll find maybe two different designs, so coming in here there is an overwhelming amount of choice, which is a nice luxury. They also have some pretty cool apparel and accessories to check out as well. Mi-Life is a store that totally connects to the vibe that these brands try to convey through their designs of their shoes. They have illustrative and graffti like art work and style that reflects it all so well. The staff here are really nice and since most of the time you’re the only one in the store, they’re keen to give you a hand and find a pair of shoes that fits your personality and feet perfectly.

Mi life, su casa. shoes are shoes and Tees are tees– they can be cool in their own right and when forces combine a force to be reckoned with is born– Mi_life however left me wondering what the buzz was about? I’m a cons and Docs girl, I like individual art and I love a statement making T.. . to me, this shop was more of a mainstream prototype display. I’ve never understood the golf shoe fad, nor see the significant difference by adding different coloured stripes to the same ugly shoe, but, each to their own. Diversity makes for a spicy world. I liked the browse, as fleeting as it was, and while I don’t dig this look, I appreciate that the quality is good– maybe I’ll pick up some laces one day? Mi_Life, doesn’t rock my socks but it could tie me over.

If you are into quality kicks, specialty apparel and accessories from a variety of boutique and major street wear labels get down to Mi Life and check out the extensive range of freshness on offer. Contrary to other experiences I have had going into similar stores where the owner or staff think they are too cool for school, the service at Mi Life is friendly and not over the top. This may be a reflection of the Fremantle culture. I make a point of dropping into the store whenever I am in the area and generally leave the store with a bit of a dent on the credit card. The products priced accurately for the quality and brands they stock, this element of the store refreshing. I would highly recommend dropping in to get kitted out in a little bit of freshness.
