Lucky Terrace News

As Camilla says, the range of magazines here is very good. I’m more of a music magazine kind of guy, and this news agent’s extensive range means I’m always able to find something I haven’t already read. They also have a drinks fridge that i used to raid daily when I was working on the strip as the prices are cheaper than elsewhere. I’m not sure about weather it is actually a «lucky» newsagent per se, but you can certainly buy lottery tickets and scratchies here.

I actually just entered this store to reload by Smart Rider card, but got a pleasant surprise when I walked past their magazines. I guess you could say, I got lucky (hehehehe). I haven’t been able to find many of my most loved glossies since moving over West and have been deeply saddened by Perth’s lack of exposure to some of the best fashion reads. So when I found 3 of my favourite titles in this little news agency on South Terrace, my bus rides became a whole lot more enjoyable again! No longer would I have to listen to crying children or put up with resident sex pests! Not only did they stock Australian fashion bible Russh, they also had Oyster, another great magazine from Sydney, and UK sartorial tome Lula. Absolute bliss! I knocked off a star because no news agent could ever come close to providing a range of titles like Sydney’s Mag Nation, but as long as you have my fashion essentials, you’re A-​OK by me!
