Muffin Break

The baristas here always brighten my morning when I hit up Muffin Break for an early caffiene hit on the way to work. They manage to be bright and cheerful every morning, something I can only commend them for when its seven in the morning and all their customers are bleary eyed and half asleep. The owner of the franchise is there most mornings as well, making coffee and chatting to the regulars which is quite unusual to see at a chain. What’s also unusual is that most of the assistants and baristas have been working there for a really long time. Obviously it’s a good place to work which only improves it’s standing in my eyes. Another main reason that I stop here for my coffee is that they have Zymil, a lactose free milk available in low-​fat. I do get sick of having to order soy lattes everywhere and appreciate it when coffee shops cater for the lactose intolerant coffee lovers who can’t stand soy milk!
