Forestville Hairdressing

Making a spontaneous booking at this tiny salon in Forestville was with the intention of experiencing the services of David and Mary the Salon owners who established this business in 1980.
My parents had spoken of them so highly I wanted to acknowledge their praise and made an appointment to experience Forestville Hairdressing for myself. Forestville Hairdressing is inconspicous up a flight of stairs above Michel’s Pattiserie to the second level.
When I arrived I was immediately taken with their warm hospitality. David was assigned to wash my hair which in all was a very thorough job with a wonderful head massage to complete it. Shown to my seat I was given magazines and then asked for my brief. As I was there for just a style it was a short explanation and then within 40 minutes there I was all done with a do that exceeded my expecations. The price was even better.
Each stylist was very busy with a regular flow of customers that they all knew by first name. This kind of service is rare these days and Im pleased I was able to see for myself what the locals fuss about. Should you be a local resident of Forestville and have not heard of this Salon then I highly recommend their services. No need for Tony and Guy and fancy multiple services and high prices. David and Mary have the no nonsense good old fashioned service that is every bit a pampering than just getting your hair done.
