We really like this bottle shop. They have an excellent selection of spirits, not just offering the basics.
They have a good selection of craft beers too and the choice of wine is huge!
This isn’t the place to go if you’re looking bargain booze but if you’re after something a bit more special or unique, then you’re sure to find something here.
The staff are extremely helpful and are always willing to make suggestions.

In a nutshell, Wine Republic is a boutique liquor store where you’ll find a broad range of locally made beer and wine. Located on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, you’ll be able to select from a wide selection of beers, ciders and wine made from independent producers.
I really like the interior design, especially the empty bottles hanging from the ceiling and the bright lights inside project a very clean, neat and inviting feel. The staff are also very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the products they sell.
Four Pillars were launching their Navy Strength Gin at this store and I was lucky to be one of the Unilocalers who had the chance to attend the event and try some delicious cocktails and snacks.
Granted, it is not the cheapest retail liquor store out there and their goal is not to be one but, if you are looking for a good craft beer, wine or spirit; then look no further!

The standard of bottle shop Melbourne needs more of.
I really hop Wine Republic survives for at least another year, and several
beyond that. The antithesis of dank, dark, old and crappy bottle shops, Wine republic features a strong range of wines, beers, and spirits from a fantastic collection. Light and bright inside with enough products of desire, mystery and intrigue. Highly recommended and you’re sure to pick up some good finds for whatever purpose requires good alcohol. There’s some really nice bottles on offer.
