Pent-Thai

This is the standard place that my in laws go to when it’s time for Thai. They are friendly, fast and have pretty decent food. I guess, in general, nothing has ever really blown me away about Pent Thai. But, over the years, they have been very good in consistently serving decent thai food.
My favorites here are the curries. The duck curry has both pineapple and lychee in it. If you know me at all, you know that I have a huge objection to cooked fruit. (I mean really, why would you ruin perfectly good fruit?!) But, I’m happy to eat around fruit in curry, and I have to say that this one is pretty good. The Massaman curry is also a family favorite. The prawn dishes are also good.
They serve Laksa and it’s ok, but there are definitely better places to go, if that’s what you’re looking for.
Although we mostly get take away from here, when you do eat in, they always make sure to ask if you have a bottle of wine with you. So remember to bring one! (BYO)
