I love that you don’t need to go all the way out to the city for this kind of Japanese restaurant with the tablet ordering system. The décor is pretty interesting — wooden booths, indoor plants. My partner and I came around 10pm on a Saturday night and both ordered miso ramen with Gyoza($ 13.50), lychee calpis and blue lemonade. The drinks were a bit flavourless. The ramen was not bad but wasn’t anything special. It could’ve came with a bit more pork. The Gyoza was pretty decent. Overall it’s not a bad place to visit(beats going out to the city) and the food isn’t too bad. The prices are pretty standard(under $ 20 per person for our dinner) but I definitely prefer the quality of cbd Japanese karaōke restaurants. Will probably come back to try karaōke some time.

Nice atmosphere but food fairly bad. Grilled food hard and likely pre cooked, not so fresh tasting. One of the sushi rolls was good, so very hit and miss. Nice décor though.

Not only was it bang for buck, but the cool booths and advanced ordering system really makes this place stand out! For just $ 9.99 each, we ordered the Karaage Chicken Don and Pork Katsu Don set lunch meals including miso soup. BOTH the meals were like legit sooooo goooood. The crunch on the Karaage Chicken was like wow heavenly and the chicken on the inside was cooked to perfection.(my mouth continues to water as I type this review…) The Pork Katsu Don was really really *omg* too! I couldn’t even talk while eating because it was that *omg*. It was just perfect, the flavour was soooo gooood and the pork was just perfect. FULL of flavour. everything was perfect really. Overall, in my best Japanese Terminator accent… *I’LLBEBACK*

The food is average, the surroundings are nice, and I love those tablet ordering systems on the table. What I didn’t like was the price of the food. OMG $ 11.80 for plain udon, $ 9 for 2 ikura ships? Can’t really justify paying that much for average food like that. It might be different if you’re going there for karaōke, but if you’re just there for the food, there are plenty of other Japanese restaurants in the area that offer good food at cheaper prices.

This was a good place to eat. The food is well priced and delicious. I strongly recommend the grilled squid, mine was tender and juicy-worth buying. The ox-tongue skewers are a delight and so is their salmon roll sushi. My favourite drink was the green tea latte, their green tea ice cream was crystalized but had a good Taste. The surroundings was lovely the wooden bench and tables was elegant and the self service ordering system worked a treat(common in Japan, BONUS!) The service was great however if you’re seated close to the bar/till you’ll find the staffs conversations louder than yours. Some may not like this is you’re going on a date. FYI. Interesting facts: there’s karaōke available.
