Risotto I couldn’t stop myself from eating this delicious! The chicken was succulent, tender and the overall experience of eating was exceptional! The Ravioli and the Canelloni we shared as well as the Risotto and the steak of the day with our family of six. The steak was out of this world succulent and tender just the way i like it. It was beyond what i had hoped for! Heaven! I felt like i was in taste bud heaven and the food was reasonably priced. One of these dishes could easily serve two to share. Great place to take a date. Love the atmosphere! We are coming back!

Yes it’s true that the food comes in massive portions. There were four of us dining and we had issues with three. The calamari salad was basically a heap of calamari popped over a sun-dried tomato mush. The veal barley tasted like it had any meat in it. The creamy pasta tasted heavily watered down which was a huge disappointment. The waitresses were nice and checked on us often so that was why I gave 2 stars. Overpriced for what we received atmosphere us good. Hoping they sort out their food.

I enjoy nothing more than paying over $ 20 for a soup straight out if a can. I’m kidding. Well it was called a minestrone soup, but merely was a sodium water pool that no one could stomach. On top of that the almost $ 30 plate of so dark almost black sauce with chunky meat called«bolognese», hiding the few strands of pasta sat in our stomachs like a brick. As an Italian I am appalled they call themselves an Italian restaurant. I could get better Italian at a servo station. For canned soup and shameful take on bolognese it was an embarrassment. To the charge such ridiculous prices was such robbery. Never again.

Had the steak of the day, was pretty good nice sized portion, and pretty fast being I was one of only a few people there. Had the chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream for dinner. Pretty friendly people, I will definitely go back.

We found this place by accident. Great food, unbelievable portion sizes and friendly service. We could’t even finish our dishes. Great meal!

Oh dear. Christina’s Restaurant is a shadow of its former glory. I came here under a group booking. The management requested that we attend for dinner at 8:00PM. Understandable, it was a large booking and everyone was okay with the later time. We also booked for the Italian Banquet which is a set menu with a couple of special dietary requests. The best dish served in the entire banquet would have been the antipasto plate. The rest of the food was below par. The ravioli was undercooked. When the meat dishes were served after an unexplained delay, it was clear that they had been cooked en masse and had been left sitting on a counter for a while. When it came to the service. The waitresses were excellent and attentive. However in what must be a bid to keep costs down, they were sent home before dessert and coffees. The manager then took over and it just became a shambles. Cake and coffee orders were messed up. I didn’t get my order of dessert and the resounding opinion on the coffee being served up was that it was undrinkable and had been burnt. I had to add sugar to my affogato but in the end I didn’t even finish it. Given that this was a set menu and the restaurant had advance warning of the group size and booking, it is troubling to see that they could not manage even though we had arrived after the dinner time rush at their request. I left the restaurant at 11:45PM. Unlikely to return.

Sorry guys no time for an in depth review. The $ 39 barra was overcooked and the salad did not compliment it all, and it just drowned the fish out. The burnt steak the size of my 4 year old daughters hand was very dissapointing. Overall a poor experience Food 4⁄10 service 6⁄10 décor 5.5÷10

OK I like Italian food, I am not fat, this is because I eat very little Italian food. If you want to eat lots of Italian food get your ass down here. Portions are massive, quality of food is good, service is good, atmosphere is good. In fact its a pretty decent experience from start to almost finish. I just get annoyed when 2 out of 4 people in a party are drinking and they charge corkage for each person, I know its only $ 3 per head, but why not ask how many people will be BYO-ing. This is the sole reason I did not leave a tip, I had a $ 20 waiting, but after seeing corkage for 4 people when only 2 drank BYO I was irritated. All in all a petty complaint on my part, but one of those things that niggle away at me. This was a work meal where I was entertaining customers and like my comments at the start every one enjoyed the whole affair. Highly recommend it, just sort out your corkage issues

Christina’s is good old fashioned homestyle Italian. You are not going to get gourmet michelin style food artistically presented on a plate. But you will get massive servings of nice italian food. If you are like me I barely manage half of it, get a doggy bag to have the next day. The staff are friendly and the service prompt. Try one of their yummy desserts, they have a great range of pastries or their homemade rocky road icecream goes down a treat.

As I’ve said before, I’m quite a big guy and I enjoy eating — a lot. Christina’s is like a home away from home for me then, because the size of the meals that they serve are nearly as big as the ones my mum used to cook for me(and now the ones I cook for myself) and the prices are so reasonable! Honestly there aren’t many places I go where a single entrée, mains and dessert is enough to leave me totally satisfied; I’m usually picking at my girlfriends or friends meals as well. Christina’s is not one of those places. The dishes aren’t the eccentric Italian that you can get else where, they are more of a down to Earth, simple and yet satisfying meal. The Cannelloni is one of my favourites, the sauce that tops it is flavoursome, and the size of the dish is quite epic. Another dish work mentioning is the Vitello Parmigiana, yet again simple(it’s a chicken parma but with veal instead) but oh-so delightful; a real pleasure to devour. The atmosphere is nearly like you’re sitting in a giant Italian home somewhere, the people are all that friendly and the décor fits that theme also. Really, a great place to go.

Christina’s serve hearty Italian cooking in a warm, homely ambience. You’re not going to find oysters with seafoam or chicken liver parfait, just down-to-earth, home-style Italian food. My dad and brother are keen economists and really appreciate anything that is good value for money. Christina’s is the place you definitely get your money’s worth; the portions are HUGE. I’m a more quality over quantity person myself, and find the experience of getting through a bowl of carbonara at Christina’s to be hard work! If you think like my brother and my dad however, you will love it.

Christina’s is the best Italian restaurant in Perth I’ve ever been. If you haven’t been to Christina’s and you are a fan of Italian — YOUMUSTGO! What makes Christina’s the best for me, is that it is the all round experience. Their serving sizes are huge, their service is excellent, the atmosphere is loud and bubbly, the food doesn’t take long to be in front of you and most of all — ITISDELICIOUS! The lasagne, calamari salad and spaghetti bolognese are all awesome classics and you usually end up going home with a container full of leftovers for lunch tomorrow — so you really get what you pay for!
