Essentially You

I cannot speak highly enough about Essentially You; A family run natural therapies business nestled in the lovely suburb of Darlington.
The business is run by mother and daughter team — Sue and Bree Lavell. Both caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I usually see Bree so I’ll focus mainly on her for this review.
Bree has an Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy and is currently finishing a degree in health science. However, I think her great strength lies in the fact she has grown up with natural therapies and has an innate interest in the area. Bree draws on a wide range of modalities to help clients including; naturopathy, aromatherapy and reflexology. She is a talented masseuse and gains specific and helpful knowledge from reflexology.
Iridology gives Bree much information about her client’s needs. I’ve heard of naturopaths who utilise iridology in the client’s initial session then never revisit it again. The great thing about Bree is she can check your health progress by looking at your eyes — and I’ve found this form of diagnosis to be amazingly accurate and helpful.
Bree genuinely cares about all her clients and will take it upon herself to investigate new and alternative ways to help them.
Essentially You is open after hours to accommodate those who work full time. I usually try to give about a week’s notice for an appointment, so I can get in when I want to. If you’re able to see Bree during the day you might be lucky enough to secure an appointment within a few days.
Bree works from her beautiful family home in Darlington and I always look forward to seeing her and hearing her kind and helpful words of wisdom.
