Tin Hong

Disgraceful is a word I can safely use to summarise this establishment. Apart from the food being substandard, the service was purely offensive.
My housemates and I ordered a variety of dishes from them online, we then received a text message saying it would be delivered in 2 hours. That seemed silly, to say the least. We rang them to ask of that delivery time was legitimate. After 10 minutes of trying to explain we would like it earlier, the food still came in 2 hours.
Hungry and already slightly displeased with the service, the delivery man tells us that he forgot one of our dishes.
Without showing a hint of apology, for both the lateness and lack of one of our dishes, he just told us to mention the dish next time we called and we would get it for free. Having already lost our trust and experiencing the staff’s severe lack of English speaking abilities, we did not trust that our dish would ever be reclaimed, and we definitely did not plan on ordering from them again.
We had to insist on receiving our money back for the dish, a common courtesy you would naturally expect but needed to be forced with Tin Hong. It was an unpleasant experience for us. We enjoy trying new places around our area but this is one place we will not be recommending to any of our friends.
The food was tasteless, the duck was rubbery and poorly cooked and all-​in-​all you’d expect a better quality of food, even for their cheap price.
Poor quality of food alone would not prompt me to write such a harsh review, it is their total lack of respect towards their clientele that should see this restaurant banished from such a diverse and friendly area.
