I’ve stayed here twice and both times my stay has been exceptional. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The prices are also extremely cheap for such spacious and well equipped suites. Wifi and wired Internet is free, unlimited, and very speedy! You can’t get a better location than this hotel. It’s right off the main street(George St.) and less than a 5 minute walk to Darling Harbor. How could it get better than perfect location, clean rooms, friendly staff, and inexpensive?

I wasn’t too impressed with this hotel. The location is great but I felt they need to revamp the rooms. When we checked in, there was a huge line because it was the holidays. The all front desk clerks seemed to be frustrated and disorganized. Our room wasn’t ready yet but they were nice enough to hold our baggage while we explored the city to say the least. The room itself it was large however the desk and chairs on the side of the room were hardly used at all. I wish they could’ve expanded the bathroom instead of having that large work space. The shower/small bathtub was kinda of odd. Kitchen sucks because you have to call front desk for the utensils, knives or whatever you need. The utensils/knives they lend you are cheap 99 cents items. Glad there was a refrigerator. The internet sucked. It kept getting cut in and out. They have a limit of people who can be connected so it might take awhile to connect if you arrive at a bad time.

Just brilliant service and food, front desk is a pleasure to talk to, been here many times I’m always welcomed back with smiling faces and a hand shake, the people here will do anything to make your stay more comfortable than the last,

I have to admit, it was not looking good for the Radisson during checkin. With the fact I had soiled my shirt on the inbound from Melbourne(send me a message if you want more detail), I wS in dire need to change the shirt at the hotel at check-in. I had called ahead to let them know of my early arrival and all seemed well. When I got to the hotel the story changed informing me I had to wait for up to a couple of hours — no way… I called another hotel to see what I could find at short notice and informed the front desk. The front desk manager went to work post becoming involved and found a room in 15 minutes. The room was nice and the breakfast and amenities were good. I will return to this property due to the initiative taken by the desk manager!

My wife and I spent 14 days at this hotel while on a business. It was first trip to Australia. Location was very good as we used only public transport and cabs. Walks to train station(10 minutes) and ferry(10 minutes) made it great for getting around. Waited no more than 10 minutes for a cab on any work morning. Monorail station is also close but is scheduled to close this summer. At night we didn’t like staying out late though nor walking to the hotel through surrounding city streets. No worries before dark but after dark just felt odd. Also, there is no view from the rooms on west side. Food(breakfast menu is all we tried) was very good. Tried several different options and were all well made. Staff was excellent especially the room service team and was housekeeping. Front desk had a few that were great. Room was like a small one bedroom apartment. Bed was very comfortable and linens were nice and heavy. Couches and carpet seemed older. Kitchen had all you need… Small refrigerator, toaster, dishes, cups, utensils, microwave, electric teapot, coffee press, sink, stove. Bathroom was very nice and well stocked. Value is tough to assess. Being first time in Australia didn’t know to compare so will let you decide. ~$ 250/night.
