The kind of busy place where you feel anonymous in a crowd. Food is okay… nothing exceptional but overall a good place to visit.

I am yet to be wowed by this café/restaurant having been here a couple of times since living in the area for both breakfast and lunch. They have a family friendly menu with options for everyone but nothing really jumps out saying EATME. I did enjoy my made up breakfast of toast with avo, halumi and hash browns and the portion was large but overall not exciting. The area is HUGE… there is indoor seating for days and a large amount of outdoor seating — there are several staff on the floor at any one time but the size of the place results in you feeling like a number not a valued customer. The staff seem friendly enough but I have not encountered any characters which make dining more an experience than calories in. note: no free range eggs here :(

Prepare to pay more for your meal than it’s worth and wait longer than you need to. They grow their own tea leaves! At least, that’s what it feels like while you’re waiting for your tea. Server was friendly and prompt in taking our order. Although, when it comes to menu changes… you had better tread lightly. They don’t do half servings for kids — so don’t ask! The food was so so. But if you have a look at the menu, you’ll see they care very deeply for their breakfast dishes. So much so that $ 20 will get you a plate of mushrooms. The coffee was okay I guess. I didn’t really notice anything about it to ever make me recommend this place for its coffee. All in all — I would take it down the road. The value for money just isn’t there. At least for breakfast anyway.

Had forgotten this little gem. So when a peep mentioned it for a coffee catch up I was pleased to trawl the streets for a parking space. Only a couple, well 4, laps of the surrounds and I scored a good parking spot. My friend was free for just coffee but I’d missed breakfast & had a snack for lunch, so happy to peruse the extensive menu. I chose the lamb shanks, caus I’ve sort of got a reputation for always trying the shanks, and a glass of a Greek red. Black sheep. .…seemed to fit the bill! Staff were friendly and the meal came quite quickly. The lamb just oozed off the bones, and the red sauce was delicious. I’m not a great fan of mash so most went back to the kitchen when my plate was cleared. I’m seated next to one of four coffee grinders. Means I’m also beside big open bins of coffee beans. Yes, I will definitely need to order a coffee after all my senses have been attacked by it through my meal & my review. A peep joined me as the afternoon went on. We had coffee and sweetness. My friend chose a piece of fruit cake with cream, and I opted for an apple cinnamon waffle with ice cream.(Hey, don’t judge, lol, that part was my dinner!)

I enjoyed the coffee, it was smooth and well presently, the service was attentive and the prices reasonable although it definitely lacked something cutting edge to differentiate it from the rest of the cafes on Majors bay road

I lunched at Espresso Organica recently, having only ever brunched here before, and I loved the lunch, just as I love their brunch! I had a chicken burger which came with 4 or 5 chicken tenderloins on a Turkish roll, avocado, lettuce, yummy aioli and the most delicious chips. It was under $ 20 which I thought was a bargain! The chips were soooo good! My friend had the Greek wrap which was packed full of lamb & she thoroughly enjoyed it! I love their coffee, it’s so creamy & delicious. For brunch I’ve had the bacon & egg burger, which was well worth the money, and hubby had a big breakfast which he loved too. Definitely a great café & yummy food at wonderful prices(especially for Sydney). The service though does leave you lacking.

Great location in the inner west with a great vibe about it. The food itself is good but a little over priced for what you get. What lets these guys down the most is their very slow service and a largely amateur staff. I come back for the food and experience occasionally but it’s clear the owners are more interested in profit rather than providing exceptional value and service. This could be the difference between them thriving vs what appears to be just busy enough to keep them going.

Everything about this place is wrong. Service is slow and incompetent and staff have no personality or brains. Our table ordered three juices. Not one of them was correct. My partner ordered their equivalent of a ‘big breakfast’, minus the sausage and extra mushrooms. His meal came with extra mushroom and sausage. The bill came with an extra charge of $ 20 for this change. When he questioned it, the staff told him that they don’t change meals and therefore had to pay the extra charge. He should have been made aware of this at the time of ordering. $ 40 for a breakfast that he didn’t want. What a joke. Clear to say that we won’t be back.

The place has plenty of seats and a nice ambience. Getting there on a Saturday was no issue. Plenty of parking… We got there ordered a coffee and that came out straight away… we then had a look at the menus! There were 3 menus and another menu for dessert!! too much choice! The food was great. I highly recommend this place however We had to wait one hour for the food. It was busy I suppose. Glad I had good company otherwise I would’ve hated waiting: P

Have been here a few times in the last six months. Large site with plenty of seating outside and inside. Nice place for brunch with a good menu, tasty food and generous servings. The mezza platter is my favourite and is a good option with friends. Decent wine list also. The waiters are very pretty but seem disinterested most of the time and service can be a little slow.

Visited this morning(Sunday morning) with the intent to have brekky. My husband and I rocked up around 0830 and the venue was not overly busy, plenty of seats available. We waited at the ‘wait to be seated sign’ for a good 5 minutes before we we’re asked whether we wanted a seat. We were directed to a table. Happy days. But then we sat. And sat. And sat some more. No menus, no water, no waiter to be seen. After 10 minutes I went up and got some menus myself to look at. Even with menus now visible on the table, and a waiter who had directed us to a table, we were shocked that no one had attended to take our order after 30minutes. Fed up, we left. My advice, do not come here expecting service or a timely feed. And definitely don’t try your Sunday breakfast here. If you do, good luck :) I do not recommend this place, plenty of others around(ie espresso 96!!!)

Good coffee and food in an area otherwise a bit lacking. The décor is über coffee nerd, so it’s a great place to hang out for smug coffee drinkers.

When I told a friend I was headed to Sydney, she immediately shouted at me, without hesitation, to «GETTHEICEDCHAI!!» Perplexing, since Sydney calls to mind kangaroos and the opera house, not their … chai. Turns out my friend was talking about this place — Espresso Organica — and while they’re apparently famous for their coffee(I had a sip and yes, it was great!), their iced chai is indeed, pretty awesome. It’s milkier(and therefore milder, less spicy) than most versions that I’ve found in the states — but since I’m a fan of milkshakes and milk tea and all that, this iced chai was right up my alley. Super delicious — enough that I wanted a refill immediately! So why only three stars? Based on the iced chai alone, the place would’ve gotten 4 in my book … but the food and the service were both rather mediocre. I got a pasta(pesto — special of the day), and it was not only too heavy and saucy, but also somehow tasted a bit bland. Others in my party ordered various other things(burgers, salads, etc.) that they weren’t too impressed by, either. Bottom line: come for the espresso drinks, but skip the food(apparently you can get amazing chicken burgers next door)!

One of the most overrated and disgusting cafés in Sydney. The service was deplorable, utterly slow and devoid of character. They kitchen closes half an hour before the allocated time, most of the food is finished before then as well. Unprofessional and unacceptable. The coffee is barely acceptable at best, and vomit inducing at worst. Stale tasting, boring, rubbish. A terrible experience, wouldn’t ever come back, and that’s not even talking about any of the terrible, stale, preheated food. Nothing is really organic nor fulfilling. Would give a lower score if possible.

Best coffee ever in Sydney Australia! They roast their own coffee and do the blending at sight with five different coffees from all over the world. Good coffee and food. Wood fired brick oven produce great pizza.

Well and truly one of my favourite coffee houses in the western suburbs. A delicious assortment of pastries and breakfast items allows you to indulge your sweet tooth while taking in the casual vibe of Concord. Staff are always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere, warm and cozy. Highly recommended.

Coffee: Espresso Organica Passion: 7⁄10 Crema: 7⁄10 Man… I had forgotten how massive this place is. While parking around here is a pain, I figured it had been far too long since my last visit. It is always enjoyable to visit a roaster directly, and seeing 4 different batches of beans getting roasted simultaneously behind me is a bit of a thrill. The coffee I went with was a Brazilian Sao Jose and I was a little surprised. Normally when a café offers a «special» coffee it is highlighting a light-med roast coffee, but this one could quite easily be used as a house blend. That said, while it is not industrial, it is little disappointing to have the flavours so overwhelmed. Next when I ordered it as a mac, asking for only a little milk as always, it was still quite overpowering(and served with a bit too much milk). As a café, looking at the whole package(coffee, food, atmosphere, service), I can heartily recommend that people try it out. As a coffee destination, I don’t think they are aiming to move beyond a milk based coffee café, and if they are ok with that, so am I. It does mean that’ll likely be a while before I come back again. N.B. No #powerwhoring available No public WiFi available Massive breakfast menu (via )
