Laundries are a curious place. It’s a rare occasion when I need to use one, but when that time comes I know I have to feel pretty comfortable with sitting around in close quarters with other strangers who are busy washing their undies and bedlinen too. It’s the great human leveler. Our laundry is currently being renovated which means the washing machine is out of use and when we get to desperation point of having only one pair of socks left in the drawers we know we need to do a massive wash. What’s great about Rainbow Bubbles is that they have plenty of machines of varying sizes so you can do your lights, darks and linens all at the same time and in under 35 minutes. It’s around $ 4-$ 5 for a standard load of washing, though don’t forget to bring your own washing liquid/powder. Dryers are $ 1 per 8 minutes and are massive, meaning you should be able to dry a lot all at once if you so desire. Open 24 hours, with parking out front and a convenience store next door who happily gives you change it’s a pretty convenient place to get laundry done.
