Okay, I know, I’ve already been to one Taco Bill down in Brighton, but since this is a different restaurant(with the same name and owned by the same franchise) I thought I might write some thoughts about this one as well. This is another of those restaurants that I have regularly walked past and decided that one day, wanting to have some mexican food, I thought I might stop in here for a meal. Turned out that my timing was perfect because on Tuesdays they have half-priced meals. They also bring out a small bowl of corn chips for you to munch on before the main course comes along(which in my case was a buritto). Okay, it may not be a spicy as Indian food, but it’s still got its own unique flavour about it. I guess the only gripe that I had about the place though was that they were a little slow bringing out their food, but having read some horror stories from other places, this place isn’t all that bad.

A fun little chain venue with tasty food and accomodating of our messy toddler. Enjoyed the burrito supremo and range of margaritas to choose from. Great value with the half price food on Mondays and Tuesdays before 8pm(with some caveats: main meal only, excludes seafood or fajitas).

Great food… Not somewhere you want to be in a hurry! Waitress had a ten min conversation. With the only other table while we waited to order. Better customer service would equal five stars.

I went to Taco Bills in Clifton Hill on a Tuesday when they do ½ price meals until 8pm(they also do this on Mondays too), and I still thought it was a rip off. Mains at this place tend to cost between $ 17-$ 25 which is very very pricey considering the type and quality of food on offer. Price aside the food is not exactly bad, but not fantastic. And as I already said I would never even consider eating here if you aren’t getting the food for ½ price. And even then I would only go if I was, for example, made to go for a party(let it be known I am not suggesting you actually have a party here). Although I must say would probably quite a good place to take little kids if it wasn’t such a rip off. On the brighter side of things you can get yourself one of those ridiculous Taco Bill sombreros if you are feeling a little ridiculous after making the ridiculous decision of dining here.
