The more I eat the worse it tastes! I stopped my food court wander at Rokujuni under a little nostalgia of my days living in Japan. I was drawn in by the Yaki Soba and Yaki Udon, a classic Japanese festival food. The staff were polite(but what Japanese person in a service position isn’t?) but I was very disappoint when I was told their Pork Buns are pan fried not steamed. I passed on that and stuck to the Yaki Udon… It was definitely yucky! The dish definitely has some locational influence with the traditional radish replaced with pumpkin however they have slaughtered my old favourite and my taste buds were greeted with an overly salty, very sloppy dish. Very disappointed.
