It’s probably one of the best Tea Houses I know that exist in Melbourne. There are magazines, old gramophone, yarns and needles, and books to read. A warm homey feeling, quiet, perfect place to just relax and have some me-time. Very cozy place where tea is made personally one by one by the owner of the tea house to ensure the quality and correct method of preparing the tea. The place is not very big, but fits about 10 ppl.

Specialty tea is the next big thing and its always exciting when theres a new tea place to explore. Porcelain has been many years in the making and has come along at a good time in a good place. Open till late with the Carlton cinemas around the corner, finally you have somewhere more relaxed to go then Brunetti. They have a ‘seasonal’ menu of teas from different suppliers around Melbourne. The menu is quite interesting with«tea and post». A pot of tea, paper, pen, envelope and stamp so you can enjoy a cup of tea while writing a letter(letter — ancient form of email) to someone special. They stock a few treats such as Panna chocolate, macarons, and some cheeses. Great place to relax and take time to enjoy some tea.
