Rather than mess with entry-​level stuff, this guitar shop holds enough guitars for any collector or novice to wet themselves over. Priced accordingly, you’ll find rarities, classics and workhorses ready to gig.
They also offer a fast turnaround for set-​ups and services on your guitar and with the worldwide love of the obscure taking hold, they also stock banjos, ukuleles, and mandolins.
All the staff are musos who love their store, and for newcomers, they also offer a guitar school out the back.

Searching for a present for a kinda quirky friend, I noticed the stand of $ 25 ukuleles out of the front of Fretted Instruments and curiously ventured inside to discover that the shop has an insane and amazing range of ukuleles! The full gamut, from beginners to, um, ukulele professionals. Turns out ukes can get pricey, man.
As the sign out front says, they have over 80 ukuleles in stock. There are also new and used string instruments of every kind and I did ogle the guitars for quite a while, but I couldn’t leave without a uke, so my friend got a little hot pink number for her birthday and absolutely loved it.
Best present idea ever.
