Some words that come to mind: Dungeon. Noise and Overstimulation. I’m not comfortable with this place for business travel. Rushed, indifferent staff. Horrible menu for vegetarian options. Very few outlets and the one that is convenient cannot handle USB and a converter at same time. Tiny iron. The one thing they do have without meat or cheese(broccoli/miso/sunflower/etc) is delicious — I just can’t eat it every single night nor do I have time to go find other restaurants, etc. Insufficient hangers for business attire. This could be considered a great place if you’re into this type of setup — I’m not. It’s clean. It has the basics — restaurant, bar, safe(when it works), heavy meat focused menu if you’re into it, etc. I need rest and tranquility in my fast-paced schedule. This simply doesn’t cut it for this and so much more. I curtailed my stay and am moving someplace else.

Urban, edgy & cool — loved Hotel Hotel. Stayed for business in March — outstanding. Loved the overall design, the details in the lobby & the rooms(cool chairs, iPads & artwork to name a few) and the bathroom & shower! The bar in the lobby was fab — especially the fire place — and the concierge was so very helpful. Only downside was getting a taxi from here on a Friday afternoon, but not overly familiar with Canberra and if this is an issue everywhere or not. Would definitely stay here again! Stayed March 2015

We stayed here for three nights. The rooms are really nicely designed, as is the hotel itself. Service is a bit hit and miss, depending on who you’ve got serving you. Reception was a bit of a mess, and they weren’t even that busy. Their gym is well stocked, though small. They do seem to like the darkness in the rooms, I found it difficult to find enough lights to brighten up the rooms — but perhaps that’s part of the styling. I did like the building as a whole though, especially being attached to a cinema. Who doesn’t want a local cinema so conveniently located? Free WiFi makes sense and the iPads are a nice touch, though take a little bit of getting used to.

This hotel is nestled in the all so awesome Nishi Building. It’s a pretty swanky place where with lots of hipsters, art, and food that I can’t pronounce. I’m writing a review based on the actual apartments vs the hotel. The architecture is quite the sight. I believe it was designed to optimize on the natural lighting and air circulation from the wind. This is the best boutique Hotel in Australia according to Australian Gourmet Traveller. This spectacular Hotel offers a range of rooms in an exceptional architecturally designed building. The room we stayed included a comfortable king size bed and provide a great number of power points to plug in iPhones and iPads. The room comes with a customised iPad that provides information on hotel services and a smart cordless phone to contact staff if you require information or assistance. It includes This hotel also included some of the best restaurants in Canberra including several choices in walking distance the hotel. I would recommend this as the best place to stay in Canberra and have not let out all the secrets. There still lots to discover if you choose to stay
