I’d give this place 5 stars for food alone. My daughter and I dine here regularly and it is one of the best Japanese cafes in the area. Food is fresh, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented every time. They are packed to the rafters every night but the owner always manages to squeeze us in somewhere.

My local (to work) sushi joint. Only tried the sushi roll however my colleagues love the Nigiri and the other rice-​based curries that I’ve seen other customers have looks great.
I have a sneaking suspicion the head chef is a Hawks fan because he has a Hawks cap on most of the time and there’s a whole wall photos of Hawthorn players on wall on the right as you walk in. But don’t hold that against the place :)
Service was a little slow however on the plus side this was because everything was freshly made on demand.
