Appalling. Went to the bar to order drinks. Left standing with no acknowledgement, not even eye contact. Drinks took a REALLY long time to arrive and were not at all worth the wait. Espresso martini was luke warm with no ice and barely any liqueur. Could not finish it.

My sister is getting married this year so we came to the casino for the bridal expo. After scouring the expo we were all practically dying of starvation(slight exaggerating) We saw signs every where for a $ 13.95 dinner at market & co. So decided to try it out. The restaurant was full so we were offered an outside seat which only allowed us the dinner specials and tapas bar, which we were all happy with any way. You have to go order and pay for your meal first. The customer service was great. I’m such a fan of great service, almost anything can be forgiven if your friendly, attentive and caring. I went and ordered for the table which was 6 of us on three different orders. They were happy to patiently go through my list of orders with various changes and questions. The table Was overall happy with their food. It was a little disappointing that we asked for no meant and no egg on the Nasi goreng but we’re not compensated with more rice, in that case the meal was a bit small. And there were no vegetarian options. I had the beef medallions which were incredible. I had no complaints whatsoever, my meat was well undercooked then I usually have it but it was too good to send back. Drinks were okay priced good for the cas. It was a perfect night for sitting on the deck.

I had a dinner with my kids and we ordered the summer escape promo of Crown such as Seafood marinara with salsa & Beef medallions, paris mash potato, tempura onion ring, red wine jus for $ 13.95 each, taste are superb, soft chewy beef and tasty mash potato. Very cheap & affordable compared to the their original menu price list which is too pricey. Kids menu such as nuggets with chips and salad comes with the big serve, i think it was good for two person Dessert such as cheesecake oreo and warm chocolate brownie are heavenly! Staff are friendly and accomodating, we got a VIP treatment from one of the waitperson too bad I didnt get his name, hes half japanese half filipino. Ambiance are classy, chair are comfortable… Next time ill come here with my hubby… cant wait!

We managed to go from a table of 2 to a table of 5, Sunday lunch time with no booking. Staff were very accommodating when friends decided to join us for lunch at the last minute. They asked if we were there to see a show and as we were there to see Grease they made sure our meals came out promptly. I really enjoyed the spicy Nasi goreng with chicken satays. Not too heavy, not too light, just right! My friends were really impressed with the club sandwiches and fries. Very tasty and filling. We were all done in 25 minutes ready for our show. Will be back to try some more dishes soon.

I came here a year or so ago, and could only remember positive things, so when I found myself looking for dinner options at the Crown, I felt I would ignore the rest of the reviews and give it a go — and boy am I glad I did! We walked in without a reservation on a Wednesday night and were shown to a free table immediately. We were offered menus and drinks, and were seated quite comfortably. I settled on the scotch fillet with a red wine jus — and it was great! The meat itself was cooked to perfection, and the cut of meat was beautiful. The red wine jus was flavoursome and rich — perfect. I do question the use of gnocchi as the accompaniment, especially as the gnocchi were presented on the bottom of the steak. I felt that the gnocchi were left to simply pick up the flavours of the red wine jus rather than having it’s own sauce and structured flavour. Having said that, the gnocchi were well cooked(perhaps a bit over) and had a good flavour to them. Market & Co have managed to create a beautiful atmosphere — intimate yet modern, and have found the perfect balance between casual and formal dining. We were quite comfortable to stay and chat for a few hours, long after dinner was finished, and the staff made the whole experience both positive and memorable.

I think this place is seriously underrated on it’s averages here and would recommend giving it a go. We went along on a Wednesday night and found it to be outstanding! Perfect amount of people there, tables well spaced and notably large actually — plenty of room. Chairs were very comfortable, something I think is often overlooked but really does add to the experience. Staff were very friendly and attentive and wait times for meals and drinks was very acceptable. I had the aged Angus rib eye 400gm with mushroom sauce, which was amazing. Perfectly cooked and served with very generous sides including onion rings, field mushrooms and very tasty gnocchi! Which is a welcomed changed to the usual ‘mash potato or chips’ options that are usually standard. To top it all off there is a great range of drinks including on tap James squire cider which was a nice touch. As a bonus you can also order almost all of their menu as room service should you find yourself staying at the Crown Promenade. Give it a go!

I’ve been here a couple of times now and each time I’ve felt like something was missing. The restaurant, despite it’s contemporary interior, seems to lacks any sort of atmosphere. The menu is quite small and they are definitely playing is safe, nothing interesting or new. A plus is that It’s in the entertainment book which is good, and if it is your birthday and you book dinner you receive a complimentary glass of champagne for you and your guests as well as a piece of birthday cake, it’s quite sweet. The waiter even sung me happy birthday! The service has been EXTREMELY slow on the previous occassions that I’ve visited(once it was only one waiter attending to everyone!) It’s an OK place to visit but i wouldn’t rush there!

Came here Christmas Eve for an late night meal and they were fully booked out. Our fault for not booking in advance for Christmas eve. The bar said we could only order the bar food, but when we asked at the restaurant after stating that we were staying at the Crown Hotel they said we could order the restaurant food and sit in the bar area. The staff seemed very over worked and frustrated with the lineup of late night people arriving wanting to order food. We ordered a dozen Kirkpatrick’s and the chili mussels which was delicious. Great atmosphere and a very beautiful lounge bar area. We enjoyed sitting having a meal and a few drinks which was in a 5 star atmosphere. However three star for the unfriendly staff who appeared to really not want to be there.

Market & Co… Hmmmm… I recently dined here with my partner and it wasn’t a very pleasant experience. Staff are welcoming when you first arrive but after you are seated the service is quite different. After being seated for some time I finally managed to gain a waitresses attention so that we could order, the order was placed for our meals and drinks. Our drinks sat on the bar for sometime before they were collected, delivered to our table and soon after that our meals arrived. I had the 300g scotch fillet with mushroom sauce, the meal was absolutely disgusting. My steak was full of fat, I asked for med/rare and it came out rarer than any rare steak I had ordered before, the sauce was watery and the mushrooms had no flavour. This place is also extremely over priced for the quality of food and service. My partner has complained about the meal and service via email and they responded by letting him know that the manager was informed. Hopefully this was just a bad day for this restaurant but unfortunately I won’t be visiting Market & Co again.

I visited here tonight and ordered the 300gm scotch fillet as did my partner and we both found the meat to be of poor quality and we weren’t impressed with the rest of the meal. The steak we have bought from Coles is better than what we had here. Service staff are scarce and not attentive and our first drink order arrived with our second drink order for mains. Some more attentive staff to patrons glasses would be a good improvement but also some better choices when it comes to selecting supplies.
