The guys at Schnitz pride themselves on bringing you authentic, delicious, pan-cooked schnitzels, which you can order either roll or wrap. With the refurbishment of Barkly Square, I think it is very fitting to have a Schnitz store in there. I, for one, am certainly glad that there’s one in my neck of the woods now. It’s in the same price range as Grill’d so it’s not the cheapest meal that you’ll get but it’s pretty good. I had the Plain & Simple in a large combo which set me back around $ 17 but it was worth it. Their menu is quite extensive with about 18 options for their rolls/wrap to choose from, they also do the traditionally popular parma and there are a couple of salads on the offer as well so you can be sure to find something to suit your craving. I’ll definitely be back.

Be prepared for the Spanish Inquisition when ordering! So many options! Well worth the grilling though, the finished«roll»(schnitzel burger) was spectacular. And the chips are TODIEFOR. The interior is laid out interestingly. It’s not one big square room, there’s a few different areas, you feel like you have a bit of privacy. Rather expensive for a burger and chips though, ~$ 20 for a meal deal. Very very good burger, but not everyday fare. Will be back, if only to get the biggest container of chips they have!

We’re so pleased with this restaurant, great food and really calming atmosphere. Service was also really friendly and quick. Not overly priced considering what you receive is decent and quite filling, you’re getting great value for your buck. They have some really good varieties to choose from including a vegetarian menu. Highly recommend and so so good!

Nicely themed clean and tidy restaurant. They also offer vegetarian meals which is great. Food isn’t overly oily. Much better than McDonald’s of KFC.
